Hi, Nooreen is my daughter. Since the age of 3, she has been suffering from lung-related problems. Finally, she was diagnosed with interstitial lung disease later on. Initially, she was diagnosed with heart disease but later on, doctors figured out that it was lung-related. Thankfully, her disease did not progress much from 9 to 22 years of age, according to healthline.com "The average survival for people with this type is currently 3 to 5 years" But I know my daughter, I know she is a fighter and know that she will continue to preserve.

Treatments

Her initial treatment was done in Pakistan, and even in the best hospitals (such as Aga khan) were negative of her cure. However, doctors say Lung transplant is the only option now

Her lungs collapsed in 2017 and the baseline of artificial oxygen went from 2-3 litre/min to 5 litre/min. She has been on portable oxygen since then. In 2019, we shifted to America to get better care for her. However on 1st January 2020, when the whole world was celebrating new year Nooreen here was facing another challenge of Life, her lungs collapsed again. She was admitted to the TMC for 15 days and we were told that the lung transplant is the only way for her survival.

We sent the case to the transplant center but they rejected our request since we do not have insurance nor American citizenship. For US citizenship, we have to wait 5 years and the doctors say that we do not have this much amount of time. She got discharged with a baseline of 8 and has been reporting chest pain. We took her to the KU on the 18th of April.

Why Do We Need Your Help?

Currently, the doctors have told us that we need lung-transplant as soon as we can. For that, we require crowdfunding for paid insurance and the expenses for the transplant. This will allow my daughter to live a normal life. She has been on artificial oxygen for too long. We cannot delay the transplant any longer since it can have drastic effects on her overall health. We try to keep her high-spirited but you can imagine the difficult situation we're in. With the Covid-19 pandemic, only one of us can go and see her. This is a very difficult time for us all. Due to home shifting, pneumonia, and body infections, we have seen her gone through some very difficult times. The entire family has been very supportive, but we do not have the financial means to help her beat this disease.

At the moment I'm writing this I cannot help my tears rolling down my face right now the baseline of artificial oxygen is 10-15. No child should have to go through such a difficult life. We want to give her the best. Please help us. For more than 20 years we have tried our best. Please contribute to help save my little child. I want her to have a normal life, get a job, get married, have children, I don't want her to live a life where she has to have her checkups on a regular basis. I appeal to you all to help us get the necessary funds for lung transplant and further treatment. Her only chance at life is through a lung transplant.

We have requested the hospital for the medical reports and soon we will share it with you. GOD BLESS
